What Is the Cannabis Vendor Portal?
The ShelfSpace cannabis vendor portal is a secure, self-service hub where every vendor in your network can access their payment checks, review settlement details, and respond to credit memos. We built it so your vendors never need to call your AP department asking "where's my check?" — they can find the answer themselves in seconds.
When you use ShelfSpace for accounts payable or consignment management, every vendor you pay is invited to the portal at no cost. There are no vendor-side fees, no per-transaction charges, and no subscription. The portal is included with your ShelfSpace service.
What Vendors Can Do
Once logged in at ourshelf.space, your vendors have access to everything they need to manage their receivables from your stores:
- Download checks — Every payment is delivered as a Check 21-compliant digital check. Vendors download the PDF and deposit it through their bank's mobile app. See Downloading Your Checks.
- View payment history — A complete ledger of every payment received, filterable by date range and retailer. See Viewing Payment History.
- Respond to credit memos — When you issue a credit memo for returns, expirations, or co-marketing, the vendor reviews it and can accept or dispute with documentation. See Responding to Credit Memos.
- Review settlement reports — For consignment partners, every weekly settlement includes a detailed breakdown of sales, splits, discounts, and credits.
- Manage their account — Update contact information, invite team members, and manage brand locations.

Security and Compliance
The portal requires login for every check download. This is a financial compliance requirement — it ensures the right person is accessing the right payment documents. We support multi-factor authentication, role-based access (admin vs. viewer), and a full audit trail of every action.
Vendor data is isolated with row-level security. A vendor can only see data related to their own partnerships — never another vendor's information.
Built-In AI Support
Every vendor portal includes access to ShelfiQ, our AI assistant. Vendors can ask ShelfiQ questions about their payments, request data exports, approve credit memos, and even propose promotions — all through a simple chat interface.
