What Canix is
Canix calls itself "the best-in-class ERP for cannabis cultivators, manufacturers, and distributors" (Canix). An ERP is the system of record for inventory, production, orders and compliance. Canix's home page lists modules for inventory management, compliance, invoicing and purchase orders, task management, yield tracking, cultivation forecasting, labor costing and business intelligence reporting, plus a web app and an offline-enabled mobile app.
On the money side, Canix's invoicing module lets you "generate and record invoices for your sales orders," and its sales section says you can "create invoices, track payments, and analyze revenue" (Canix). Its finance page says you can "manage outstanding balances, track accounts receivable and accounts payable all from Canix" (Canix finance and accounting). Canix lists QuickBooks, Sage and LeafLink among its accounting integrations, and it accepts ACH payments through a payment portal or an invoice link (Canix blog).
What ShelfSpace is
ShelfSpace is collections software for cannabis brands, run for you: invoices go out in your name, past-due stores get reminder emails on a schedule and an AI phone call once an invoice is badly late, and stores pay from a link. We offer 0% payment plans to stores that need them, collect promises to pay, and send final notice letters when an invoice is badly late. Stores pay by e-check or bank transfer from the pay link, and payments land in QuickBooks.
ShelfSpace is not an ERP. It doesn't track inventory, plan cultivation or production, or file Metrc transfers for your operation.

Where Canix fits better
If your problem is running the operation, Canix is the better fit. A cultivator, manufacturer or distributor that needs one system for inventory, compliance, yields, labor costs and order-to-invoice needs an ERP, and ShelfSpace doesn't do that work.
Where ShelfSpace fits better
If your problem is that stores pay late, an ERP's A/R view tells you who owes you, but someone still has to chase them. That is the work ShelfSpace does for you, in your name, every week. If your Canix invoices already reach QuickBooks, ShelfSpace can pick up the open ones from QuickBooks, so the two don't compete.
