What Distru is
In its own words, "Distru is a cannabis ERP with a built-in B2B wholesale marketplace" (Distru). An ERP is the system of record for inventory, production, orders and compliance. Distru's site has separate sections for cultivators, manufacturers and processors, and distributors, and its blog says it "works particularly well for distributors, processors, and manufacturers in Metrc states" (Distru blog).
On the money side, Distru lets you manage open orders and invoice payments, and its financial page offers real-time visibility into A/R by exporting payments or invoices (Distru financial management). Invoices and payments sync with QuickBooks Online; Distru's blog says an invoice created in Distru "shows up in QuickBooks within minutes."
What ShelfSpace is
ShelfSpace is collections software for cannabis brands, run for you: invoices go out in your name, past-due stores get reminder emails on a schedule and an AI phone call once an invoice is badly late, and stores pay from a link. We offer 0% payment plans to stores that need them, collect promises to pay, and send final notice letters when an invoice is badly late. Stores pay by e-check or bank transfer from the pay link, and payments land in QuickBooks.
ShelfSpace is not an ERP. It doesn't track inventory, plan production or file Metrc transfers for your operation.

Where Distru fits better
If your problem is running the operation, Distru is the better fit. A cultivator, processor or distributor that needs one system for inventory, batches, production costs, Metrc compliance and order-to-invoice needs an ERP, and ShelfSpace doesn't do that work.
Where ShelfSpace fits better
If your problem is that stores pay late, an ERP's A/R view tells you who owes you but someone still has to chase them. That is the work ShelfSpace does for you, in your name, every week. If your Distru invoices already sync to QuickBooks Online, ShelfSpace can pick up the open ones from QuickBooks, so the two don't compete.
